...The Bulldogs won the coin toss and elected to receive the ball. After Joe Sumpter returned the kick to the Osborne 29 yard line, the offense lined up. In what was to be a preview of the entire night, the Dogs tried to pass against the Panthers, but just couldn't get a completion. The running game didn't gel either as the Panthers shut the Dogs down cold...

...Using a solid running game and a sprinkling of passes, the Panthers scored with 8:55 remaining in the first quarter...

...Osborne’s Andrew Conway received the kick and returned it 8 yards...Krager picked the ball up and tried to advance it but was tackled well short of the first down...

...The panther offense took the field. First play of the series was a pass to Phillipsburgs Tanner Thompson for the score...

...Conway once again fielded the Panther kick and returned it 23 yards. The Bulldog offense setup shop at the 27 yard line. Three running attempts didn’t muster any yards, but the Panthers received their first penalty of the night. Incidental facemask penalty...

...Again the Dogs tried a mix of running and passing, but the Panthers played tough defense. With 2:02 left in the first quarter, Osborne’s coach Riner called time out...

...On the first play of the new series, Conway sparked excitement in the crowd by busting a run loose. What appeared to be quite a nice run, was negated when the Referees placed the ball back, saying he stepped on the out of bounds line...

...At this point the MCL’s mercy rule came into effect...Osborne’s Knoll took the kickoff and returned it 23 yards. Osborne’s offense went to work on the 20 yard line. Conway attempted a pass to Brice Burdolski, but it fell incomplete. Conway kept the ball on the next play, but fumbled it. Phillipsburg recovered...

...The 2nd half began with Phillipsburg receiving the kick off. Using a recipe from the first half, the Panthers pounded the ball down the field with successive runs. Scoring with 8:12 remaining in the third quarter. Osborne 0 Phillipsburg 55...

...Phillipsburg started where they left off and continued the running game... The Dogs shut down two runs and the third quarter expired...

...Phillipsburg cranked things up with a mix of running and passing, but the dogs shut them down. Even with an offsides penalty, the Panthers couldn't get a first down. Osborne took over on downs. With time expiring, the dogs couldn't get things going. The clock expired on an incomplete pass to Sumpter. Final score Osborne 0 Phillipsburg 55...
